JHP Episode 2: How I have the Motivation to get it ALL done!

I'm answering my #1 Question on how the heck do I have the motivation to get it all done?

Well.. Short answer is... I don't have an absurd amount of motivation, just some awesome habits!

Motivation: the general desire or willingness of someone to do something

Habit: a settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up.

My life is made up of a bunch of habits that I've worked on creating over time. i.e a clean home, working out, walking, making dinners, meal planning, my nighttime routine, etc.

Here is a breakdown on how to create a habit:

  1. Goals: What are your goals? ALL OF THEM! (Goals for yourself, your spouse, your family, your home, your contribution to the world, your finances?

  2. Why: I want to hear why YOU want, not why the people in your life do.

  3. Break it down & pick one thing (be specific): I want a way to measure it and I want it to be small enough that you don't need a lot of motivation to get it done.

  4. Track it: Use an app or a printable!

  5. Reflect: How long did it take? How did it feel? Celebrate!

Habits that I've created:

-Maintaining a clean and tidy home.

-Daily workouts

-Healthy Diet

-Meal prepping

-Homemade dinners 90% of the time

-Daily walks/time outdoors

-Nighttime routine

-Self care routines

-Social media presence (posts on IG, Tiktok, Youtube, Blog, & Podcast!)
