To start off, I have to clarify that I am by no means an expert on appliances, and while I'm satisfied with the cleanliness of my appliances, there are definitely deeper cleans possible!
Step 1: Gather your supplies
Microwave
Microfiber cloth, white distilled vinegar, all-purpose spray, bowl, and (optional) baking soda
To clean my microwave, I remove the glass dish and put a glass bowl filled with vinegar in for 3-5 minutes until it steams, and let the steam do the work! While waiting for the steam, I wash the glass dish in the sink with Thieves dish soap. I then use my microfiber cloth to wipe down the interior of the microwave.
For tougher spots, I will sprinkle baking soda and then spray with vinegar and let sit for 1-2 minutes before wiping off.
For the exterior of the microwave, I simply use my multipurpose spray and a microfiber cloth to give it a nice wipe-down. (For stainless steel appliances, use a vinegar spray to keep appliances sparkling!)
Toaster

To clean my toaster, I first unplug it. I then take out the crumb tray and dump the crumbs into the garbage, wash the tray in the sink with my Thieves dish soap, and let it air dry. I then spray my microfiber cloth with my multipurpose spray and wipe down the exterior of the toaster before wetting my cloth with vinegar to shine it back up. Re-insert the crumb tray and you are done!
Keurig Mini Coffee Machine
Microfiber cloth, multipurpose spray, vinegar
I first remove the drip tray and water reservoir to clean with dish soap in the sink. I use a multipurpose spray to wipe down the exterior of the machine as well as the interior where the "pods" are placed.
To deep clean the Keurig coffee machine, I add distilled white vinegar into the water compartment (and a mug underneath) and run it through the brewing cycle twice. I then add water and run it through 3 more times to ensure all the vinegar is gone.
Stove Top

To clean my stove top, I first remove the grates and carefully put them into the kitchen sink. I then fill the sink with a mixture of water and vinegar to completely cover the grates and allow them to sit for 2-24 hours (I sometimes add these into the tub when cleaning my oven racks as well!). While the grates are soaking, I use my multipurpose spray to spray down the stovetop. For stubborn spots, I will sprinkle baking soda to cover and then spray vinegar and allow that to sit for 10 minutes before wiping down. After the grates are done soaking, I will wipe them down with a microfiber cloth and then allow them to air dry before putting them back on the stove.
Oven
Microfiber cloth, multipurpose spray (water, castile soap, tea tree oil), vinegar, magic eraser
To clean my oven, I remove the grates and soak them in a vinegar and water mixture in our tub. *Make sure to be very careful to not scratch the tub; you can put down towels to make sure no scratches occur*. I let these soak for 24 hours before taking my microfiber cloth and scrubbing brush to wipe them down completely. For stubborn stains, I use a magic eraser! For the inside of my oven, I use my multipurpose spray OR plain vinegar spray and a whole lot of elbow grease. I use a variation of my microfiber cloth and magic eraser to work at any tough spots. I leave it slightly open to air out and dry!
The key to making this easier is to keep up with the maintenance so it doesn't get caked on and become too difficult to scrub off.
Dishwasher
Microfiber cloth, multipurpose spray (water, castile soap, tea tree oil), vinegar
To clean the outside of the stainless steel dishwasher, I spray with vinegar and wipe down with a scrub brush and microfiber cloth. For the inside of the dishwasher, I remove the racks and filter at the bottom. I clean the bottom filter using hot water and soap and then put it back in. I then wipe down the inside completely, wipe down the racks, and put a coffee mug filled with vinegar in the center of the top rack. I run a quick wash with the coffee mug in there for a final cleaning!
Fridge & Freezer
Microfiber cloth, multipurpose spray, vinegar
To clean my fridge, I first remove EVERYTHING! ( Including bins, drawers, and all the food). I then use my multipurpose spray to spray down the shelves, walls, ceiling, and door (If necessary will remove the shelves and soak in the sink with vinegar and baking soda mixture). After spraying down the fridge, I will wash the bins in the sink with just soap and water and even do a wipe down of any condiments that have drips on the side. I then load it back up with all the yummy food! (I also usually do this right before grocery shopping, so I'm then stocking a nice clean fridge with our new groceries!
This exact same process applies to the freezer! (But I work a little faster because my hands get so cold!
Garbage Disposal
Baking soda, distilled white vinegar
To clean a garbage disposal, you can easily do it by pouring 1/2 cup baking soda down, followed by 1/2 vinegar, and then making sure to cover it with the stopper so the magic can happen (and stay in the disposal), wait a few minutes before flushing the disposal. Repeat the process if necessary.
Drop a small chunk of lemon into the disposal and run to leave the whole kitchen smelling fresh!
Small Appliances; Crockpot, Instant Pot, George Foreman, Waffle Maker, Air Fryer, Blender, Coffee Grinder, KitchenAid Mixer
Microfiber cloth, multipurpose spray (water, castile soap, tea tree oil), vinegar
To clean all of these, I use my multipurpose spray and a microfiber cloth. I wipe down the interior and exterior and make sure all the crevices are clean and all the cords are neatly wrapped up.
